DO:

1) rental cars with automatic transmission and air conditioning. It's no fun trying to learn to change with his left hand. And much safer, closed with the Windows drive.

2) Go on safari.

3) Visit Table Mountain and Robben Iceland

4) Get the path to the break on the left, if someone flashes the light behind you. It is considered polite. The driver of their hazard lights flash twice after passing grateful. :)

5) Use your bank card - get your money from ATMs not change Burueaux. (Exchange rate and better.)

NO:

1) Never use the word "Keff." Probably a good thrashing.

2) wait too long at the ATM, if it happens to his money. If you like it, suck the gate again, not a credit to your account. Great pain.

3) walk behind "Taxi". For the "Taxi", I hear a truck to carry as many people as possible, filled. The drivers are terrible, and vehicles are often poorly maintained.I saw one lose a wheel while driving from Durban!

4) It looks like a rich tourist - no camera around his neck, face in urban areas, do not wear luxury jewelry, etc. You will get a goal.

5) Take your valuables in your checked baggage. Johannesburg International Airport is a major problem with theft of luggage. Something of value in checked luggage will be stolen.

ONE LAST DO:

DO NOT use a travel agencies (like me) to prepare your trip to South Africa. Visit the Web safari.com www.african or e-mail me directly: phil@african-safari.com
